Marta is the founder of MECENAS 2.0. A new model to promote emergent art who brings together art students or beginners and society in a sustainable way, opening doors to start their professional career and offering funding tools for their art projects. A company that transforms consumers in patrons.
Xurde is a telecommunication engineer that left Asturias, where he was born, to enrich his academic, professional and (above all) personal experience in such as different places as Jönköping, Madrid, São Paulo or Bali. He is the co-founder of Appio, a company that creates mobile and tablet applications, as well as a Facebook application developer working as a freelancer.
Ernesto is a graphic designer with a degree in journalism. While studying he discovered that what he liked most where the design of the medias, focusing his career on that. He starts working on companies based on PTA (Andalusia Technology Park) and receives a Graphic Design and Graphic Arts master’s degree in Málaga University. He has been doing web sites since more than ten years. He also design logos and layouts for magazines and books. Lately has been also generating content for web sites and mobile applications. He loves literature, tipography and he plays bass!

RTCoaching is a couching company specialised in hotels, pionering in implementing Upselling projects in Spain. Rafi received an International Master in Coaching by IEC, she’s a psycology student who loves observing human behaviour, amateur writer and blog author “El Poder de la Acción”. She loves impressionism and paddle, among other sports. She tells of herself “I’m bold by nature, optimistic, tireless fighter and really positive. I’m moved by challenges, novelty, complex, funny and audacious things…. I can’t abandon something that keeps me alive and makes me feel emotions. Mi trully passion: Communicate!”

Mark Weston is a freelance writer and researcher, with a focus on public health and human rights. He has lived in Malaga for two years.
Philologist and Photographer
Violeta takes pictures, writes and reads poems, now she is also experimenting with collage. Beside she deejays occasionally in bars. Nowadays she is in a translation project with a University mate, though she wouldn’t dare to define herself as a translator because she is a philologist. She works organizing musical events in the mornings and teaching English in the school in the evenings.
Just arrived from Argentina. Leo coordinates a group of translators for an international company.
Software Developer and Nido founder
She works remotely for an open source software company. She never liked too much working from home and she always tried different options to avoid it. In Berlin she found out hers: coworking. Back in Málaga, and willing to bring the concept to the city, founded Nido from where she keeps working on her projects.

After living outside she is enjoying Málaga a lot and she is full of expectations. Looking for local collectives of different disciplines to collaborate with and create new projects together. Happy of meeting so many new people thanks to Nido and happy of having such nice work mates of so different professions.

Alejandro is well known for his personal brand: Blocdeesbozos. His expertise is Internet communication, with more than 10 years of experience. Besides, in his spare time he loves drawing and he shares his works in his blog ‘Visuales’ and on his social profiles.
Martin moved to Málaga from Slovakia last autumn to try a different taste of living. He works remotely with a Drupal consulting company based in Slovakia as a software engineer. He likes to travel, take pictures, enjoy good food and drinks. He likes music, plays the drums and in Spain he learns to play classic guitar.
Daniela is a freelance translator originally from Slovakia. She has moved to Málaga to enjoy sun, beaches and tapas while remotely offering professional translation services from English and Spanish to her native Slovak language.
Jose studied Economics in Vigo and received a MSc in Economics in London University, staying in London as a Business Consultant. After London, he comes back to Spain where spends the latest 9 years working and travelling as operation director for a hotel chain. Tired he decides to quit and start developing his own proyects. There are three, the main one is moRentals, where he promotes the idea of travelling staying in apartments instead of hotels. He also has a social project to canalize resources for projects in Sri Lanka. And the final one is related to gems, looking for good quality gems around the world to sell them. To do this hi studied Gemmology at The Gemmological Association of Great Britain.
Henrik is from Denmark but has been living in Málaga for almost 15 years. He started working in Scandinavian medias around the coast but since 2010 he is focused in the creation and organization of events, besides of working as an independent consultant. Some of his hobbies are travelling, Harley motorcycles and sport.
